Hi there! I’m an NYC-licensed Celebrant and Chief Love Officer (CLO) at Simply Weddings NYC, where I turn love stories into unforgettable ceremonies. Think of me as your Love Alchemist, crafting magic through words to celebrate the unique bond you share.
But let’s get personal for a second—who am I? Beyond ceremonies, I’m a Brooklyn Gal, proud plant mom, avid traveler, fun-loving auntie, coffee addict, and eternal Knicks and Jets fan who always believes "this year" will be “THE” year. But what truly inspires me is LOVE — all kinds of love! The kind you have for your family, your friends, your fur babies, and—most importantly—yourself. I believe love has the power to change lives, rewrite stories, and even shift the course of history.
Whether it’s your first “I do,” a vow renewal, or a bold reaffirmation, I’ll help you create a ceremony that feels like you. Your love story deserves to be unforgettable. Every power couple has a love story waiting to be told.

From there, we’ll dive into planning sessions to shape your ceremony and walk through all the important details from start to finish.

This is where everything comes together. Using all the details you’ve shared, I’ll craft a ceremony that feels authentically you—whether heartfelt, humorous, or a perfect mix of both. We’ll finalize the flow, include any special touches or rituals, and make sure every word reflects your unique connection.

Lauren really took the time to get to know us in order to make our ceremony unique and she was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She was able to tailor the ceremony to our needs, and was great at listening. Lauren was very respectful of traditions we wanted included and ones we felt did not suit us. When we wanted to incorporate a dice roll into our ceremony she took the time to research Dungeons and Dragons and came up with the wonderful idea to roll for initiative to determine our vow order. " I have always believed in the saying “Everything happens for a reason!” and this couldn’t’ be any truer in our attempt to figure out how to get married in NYC on a short notice. My partner & I decided to elope, and we were so clueless on how to go about organizing the logistics involved in two foreigners getting married in New York. We stumbled upon Lauren during our attempts to contact the City Clerk of NYC and we never had to worry about a single thing once we signed up with her. From explaining each step of the process, getting to know us to make the ceremony more personalized and to organizing the photographers, the logistics around the venue etc., Lauren was there for it all. She is amazing, super-organized and knew exactly what we needed to make our day super-special! Even after our wedding day, she supported us in getting our documents and is just a call/message away if we need help. I must also mention the wonderful photographer (Gregory) who took brilliant photos of our wedding. For any one looking to get hitched in NYC or even outside of, I would definitely say Lauren is the best officiant to consider!"
